| While the media is in a frenzy with the **recession depression** which is driving Australians into doom and gloom mode....NOT all businesses are having dramatic sales reductions. The majority of businesses we deal with and are in touch with have reported above average monthly sales. Have you noted the companies and businesses going into bankruptcy and liquidation are quite huge companies and losing millions of $$$$....If you watch closely and listen, these businesses have huge debt and overheads and perhaps had depended on an upward economy...So how does that affect Small Business..they should prosper IF they have low debt (no bank noose, even better) low overheads...people keep spending....my father who lived through the Great Depression worked in an active pawn shop...Their busiest day was a Friday..pay day..when men and women returned to buy back their pawned goods which they had cashed up to survive the rest of the week and guess where they went... TO THE PUB...People keep spending... |
